Check In

Our rooms are available from 14:00 onwards. If you require the room earlier, depending on availability we may be able to assist you. If you require assistance with bags or luggage to the rooms we will be more than happy to help.

Breakfast

This can be served between the hours of 8:30 and 10:30. Our breakfast is £8.00 per person, a copy of our menu is found at the back of this folder. As all of our meals are prepared freshly to order, we ask kindly that you inform a member of our team as to the expected time you will require breakfast, so we are able to ensure staffing levels are appropriate. Guests are welcome to invite non-resident customers with prior notice. If you would like to amend your breakfast reservation please inform a member of our team.

Restaurant

Our menu is available from 8:30 every day, serving straight through to 21:00 Monday – Thursday, 21:30 Friday & Saturday, and 20:30 on Sundays. If you have any special dietary requirements or allergies feel free to inform us and we will be more than happy to cater for your needs. BAR Coffee and soft drinks are available all day from 8:30. Alcoholic drinks from 11:00. The bar closes at 23:00 Sunday – Thursday, and 23:30 Friday & Saturday.

Room Service

As we are only a small hotel, we do not offer a room service facility. Although please feel free to take drinks and food to your room and again we will be happy to assist you with any needs.

Tea & Coffee Facilities

Beverage making facilities are provided in the privacy of your own room. These are replenished on a daily basis. If you require replacements prior to your room being serviced please ask a member of staff who will bring them up to you. Fresh milk is available upon request. Depending on how strong you like your coffee, we recommend 4/5 heaped teaspoons are used of the powdered illy for the cafetiere.

House keeping

We service all rooms daily, however we will only change your bed linen when requested to do so. Towels will be replaced if they are left in the shower tray. If extra bedding, pillows, towels, coat hangers and blankets are needed, we can supply on request. A single fold down bed is available at £20.00. If you do not require your room to be serviced please inform a member of our team.

Laundry

Although we do not have onsite the facilities for a laundry and dry cleaning service, there is a laundrette that can offer this in Totley village, 500 yards down the main road. Please ask and we will be happy to assist you with your needs.

Toiletries

Basic toiletries are provided free of charge in the rooms and are replenished daily. If you require replacements prior to your room being serviced please ask a member of our staff. Local supermarkets can be found in both Dore and Totley village. Please ask for directions and we will be happy to assist you.

Safe Keeping

There is a safe on site that only the managers have access to. If you require secure storage of any items please ask a manager and we will be happy to store them securely for you.

Lost Property

Any items that have been left by guests are kept for a period of 3 months, after which any unclaimed items will be disposed of. We will attempt to contact any guests where possible, upon finding lost property we can identify. However we do not accept any liability for the security of items left in the hotel under any circumstances.

Hotel Property

Guests may be held responsible for any damaged caused to the allocated rooms or the furnishings, utensils and equipment therein by any act, default or neglect on their part; and will be liable to pay to the company on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.

Television

All our rooms are equipped with freeview LCD TVs. A full range of digital and audio channels can be found. Any problems please ask a member of our team and we will try to rectify immediately.

We have a newspaper delivered daily for guests to use, further such materials can be found at the local supermarket.

Small quantities of photo copying can be done free of charge. Please ask a manager who will do this for you.

We are pleased to accept most major debit/credit cards. Unfortunately, we don’t accept cheques as a payment method.

Room Keys & Bedroom Furniture

For your own safety and security please ensure that your room is locked when you leave. You are welcome to take the room key with you, or you may hand it back in at reception. Rooms 2-4 have balconies; the key for this door is included with the room key. At the end of the hotel corridor there is an entry/exit fire door (opposite room 4). This is lockable from the outside, and therefore serves as a private entry/exit point for guests during non-trading hours. To gain entry from outside turn the key to unlock so the door handle turns, once you have opened the door please turn the key back to lock the handle. This entry/exit point leads through a brown gate situated on our rear beer garden, only guests have keys to access this door. During trading hours we ask that you please use the main entrances.

Car Parking

We provide free on-site parking for all our guests. We cannot accept liability for loss of or damage to property or vehicles left in the car park.

Departure & Check-out

Guests are respectfully requested to vacate their rooms by 11:00 on the day of departure. A further days charge may be incurred unless alternative arrangements have been made. Please settle all bills on the morning of departure. If you require early departure please settle the bill the evening prior and guests can leave via the private entry/exit point leaving the key in the room. If doing so please respect other guest by keeping noise to a minimum.

Fire or Emergency Procedure

We strongly advise that you familiarise yourself with the Fire Notice located on the back of the room door. The main exit point from the hotel rooms is via the fire escape opposite room 4; alternatively guests can exit through the main doors of the pub, but please be mindful that access is restricted between the hours of 24:00-8:30. The fire/emergency meeting point is next to the main sign on the front car park. In the event of any emergency please contact a manager and we will assist you in any way, we will offer absolute discretion and total support.
