What type of cuisine do you serve?

The Cross Scythes offers pub dining, a seasonally changing menu and weekly specials that focus on freshly cooked local produce sourced within Sheffield and The Peak District.

What drinks do you serve? 

Our drinks menu focuses on a quality selection of premium draught keg and local cask ales, a carefully curated wine list, innovative cocktails, and locally roasted coffee by Castleton Coffee Co.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options?

Do you take table reservations and how do I book a table?

We do accept table reservations, head to our 'reservations' page to book your table, or speak to The Cross Scythes team directly. We are still a pub at heart, so feel free to drop by any time we're open.

What is the maximum booking size online?

You can book for up to eight people, if your booking is larger than this, please email info@cross-scythes.co.uk with your phone number, booking date and time, and size of party, and the team will be in touch.

Do you have parking?

Parking remains the same, and is free and open to anyone visiting The Cross Scythes. 

Do you have a children's menu?

We are a family-friendly venue and have a dedicated children's menu.

Is the pub pet-friendly?

We welcome well-behaved dogs in the bar area, garden and terrace.
